Delete your Lampstead account

1. Open Lampstead (lampstead.app, or the Lampstead app on iPhone or Android) and sign in.
2. Tap You in the bar at the bottom.
3. Tap Settings.
4. Tap Account & sync.
5. Tap Delete account, then confirm.

Delete account shows when you are signed in. If you never signed in, there is no account on our servers, and Delete my data in the same place erases what is stored on your device.

Email [email protected] from the email address on your account, with the subject “Delete my Lampstead account”. You don’t need to give a reason. We delete the account and reply to confirm when it’s done. Use this too if you can’t sign in anymore, or if you want your founding-tester email removed.

Email a deletion request

• Your account record: name, email address and the sign-in methods you used.
• Everything synced to your account: notes, highlights, prayers, plans, memory verses and study progress.
• Your premium access record and the devices signed in to your account.
• Lampstead Memory data linked to the same account.
• If you used Sign in with Apple, we also ask Apple to revoke Lampstead’s access.

Things stored only on your device, such as reading history, are removed with Delete my data (You → Settings → Account & sync), or by uninstalling the app. Reading reminders are removed from our server when you turn them off. A founding-tester email is removed when you ask by email.

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription bought through the App Store or Google Play. Cancel that in your Apple or Google account settings. Apple and Google keep their own payment records under their own policies.

In the app, your account and synced data are removed from our servers right away. Copies in backups are gone within 30 days. Email requests are completed within 30 days, and usually much sooner. We email you when it’s done.
