Privacy Policy

This policy explains what the Lampstead app for iPhone, iPad and Android and the Lampstead website ("Lampstead", "we", "us") collect, how we use it, and your choices. Lampstead is published by Emmaus Bible LLC (becoming Montgomery Appworks LLC).

• Your notes, highlights, prayers, plans, memory verses and reading history stay on your device.
• No ads, no advertising trackers, no cookies for analytics (only anonymous, cookieless visit counts on the website), and we never sell your data.
• You can delete everything from inside the app at any time.

Reading progress, highlights, notes, prayers, saved verses, study plans, settings and a short reading history (used to suggest what to read next) are stored locally on your device. They are not sent to us. You can erase them in You → Account & sync → Delete my data, or by uninstalling the app.

Accounts are optional. If you create one, we store an account record (your name if you share it, your email address, which sign-in methods you use and when) and any study data you choose to sync so it can appear on your other devices. You can delete your account and all synced data in the app (You → Account & sync → Delete account); deletion is permanent and completed within 30 days, including backups.

You can sign in with Apple or Google. When you do, Apple or Google shares with us only: your name (if you choose to share it), your email address (with Apple you can choose to hide it, and Apple then gives us a private relay address that forwards to you), and a stable user ID that identifies your account to us. They do not share your password, contacts or other account data, and we never see your Apple or Google password.

We use this information only to create and secure your Lampstead account, to link your Apple and Google sign-ins when they use the same verified email, and to contact you about your account. We do not use it for advertising.

When you delete your account, we delete your account record and synced data from our servers, and for Sign in with Apple we also ask Apple to revoke the app's access (token revocation). You can also stop using Sign in with Apple at any time in your Apple ID settings (Sign-In & Security → Sign in with Apple), or remove Lampstead from your Google Account (Security → Third-party apps with account access).

Lampstead's website and sign-in service run on Cloudflare (Cloudflare Pages and Cloudflare Pages Functions), and account records are stored in Cloudflare Workers KV. Cloudflare, Inc. processes this data for us as a service provider, in the United States and other countries where Cloudflare operates.

Subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see your card details. We use RevenueCat to confirm which purchases are active; it receives an anonymous app user ID, purchase history and receipts from Apple or Google.

If you sign up for the founding tester offer, we store your email address, which app you signed up from and the time. We use it only to send your launch code and launch news for that offer. We never sell or share it. To unsubscribe or have it deleted, email [email protected] and we will remove it.

The Lampstead website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits anonymously. It sets no cookies, does not track you across sites and collects no personal data: only page views and general information such as browser type and country.

If you send feedback or email us, we receive what you send (and your email if you give it) and use it only to respond and improve the app.

When the app loads online content, our host (Cloudflare) processes standard technical data such as IP address and request logs to deliver and secure the service.

Some features open content from other providers, such as audio Bibles (archive.org / LibriVox, eBible.org), videos (YouTube) and ministry websites. Those providers handle your request under their own privacy policies.

We share information only with service providers that run Lampstead for us, when required by law, or to protect users and Emmaus Bible LLC (becoming Montgomery Appworks LLC). We do not sell or share personal information for advertising.

Lampstead is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

You can access, correct or delete your information at any time in the app or by emailing us. Residents of some states and countries have additional rights; contact us to use them.

We will post any changes here and update the effective date.
