Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the Lampstead app and website, published by Emmaus Bible LLC (becoming Montgomery Appworks LLC). By using Lampstead you agree to them.

Lampstead is a Bible reading and study app. Study notes summarize historical and scholarly views; it is a study aid, not the final word.

Premium is offered as an auto-renewing subscription ($4.99/month or $34.99/year in the US; prices vary by region) and some one-time purchases. The Lampstead Collection is an auto-renewing subscription ($9.99/month or $69.99/year in the US) that unlocks Premium in Lampstead, Lampstead Groups, Lampstead Prayer, Lampstead Memory and Lampstead Kids. New subscribers may get a 7-day free trial. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it converts to a paid subscription and your Apple ID or Google Play account is charged. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. Use "Restore purchases" to recover purchases on a new device.

Your notes and prayers belong to you. You are responsible for content you share with groups.

Do not misuse the service, attempt to break its security, or use it to harass others.

Scripture texts, artwork, audio and linked teaching belong to their owners and are used under their licenses or as links. The English Bible texts in Lampstead are public domain (World English Bible, King James Version, American Standard Version, Berean Standard Bible, Young's Literal Translation, Darby). The Berean Standard Bible is produced in cooperation with Bible Hub, Discovery Bible, OpenBible.com and the Berean Bible Translation Committee and has been dedicated to the public domain. Other-language texts published under Creative Commons licenses show their copyright notice in the reader. Translation names such as NIV, ESV, NASB, NLT and CSB are trademarks of their owners and are mentioned for identification only; no text from those translations is included. Lampstead is not affiliated with or endorsed by any teacher or ministry it links to.

If you use the iOS app, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA) also applies. Apple is not responsible for the app or its support.

LAMPSTEAD IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, TO THE EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW.

To the extent allowed by law, Emmaus Bible LLC (becoming Montgomery Appworks LLC) is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and its total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the prior 12 months.

The laws of the State of Oklahoma govern these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

We may update these terms and will post changes here. You may stop using Lampstead at any time.
